Royal Grounds Equestrian Farm
Royal Grounds Equestrian Farm is being revitalized as an equestrian boarding facility and permaculture food forest located in the Farmland Preservation Area along 225a in the northwest quadrant of Ocala. The farm was purchased in the summer of 2022 and work begin in the fall of preserving and revitalizing this beautiful property. Currently the cinder block barn has been painted, electrical services and lighting updated, a new jumping arena has been added and all fencing is in the process of being replaced. Work has also begun in creating a premaculture plan for renewing the depleted soils on the farm.
Equestrian Boarding
Work is underway on updating the 12 stall barn. The barn has been painted and an electrical update is underway. New Comfort Stall mats are scheduled to be installed in March. The living quarters, office, tack room and feed room are being remodeled.
Permaculture Farming
Royal Grounds has hired permaculture consultant Kris Edler of Permaculture FX ( www.permaculturefx.com ) to create a detailed evaluation and master plan for the farm.
